The story behind Looona
As a developer working on multiple web and mobile projects, I kept running into the same problem: how do users report issues or share ideas?
By the time a project nears completion, the last thing you want to do is build yet another feedback system from scratch. New routes, new database tables, new forms, notification systems... it's exhausting when you just want to ship.
I looked for existing solutions, but they were either too complex for simple needs or way too expensive for side projects and solo developers. That's when I decided to build Looona.
Looona is designed to be transparent and non-invasive. You can integrate it in minutes, receive feedback wherever you already work (Slack, GitHub, Discord, Jira), and maintain full control over your data through self-hosting.
Once configured, you're not locked in. If you decide to move on from Looona, your feedback continues flowing to the services you've already set up. It's a tool that respects your independence.
