Terms of Use
By accessing Looona, you agree to these terms in their entirety.
1. Purpose
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Looona service, published by Arnaud BLANCHARD CETOUTE, available at looona.fr.
Looona is a user feedback management platform, available as a hosted cloud service on looona.fr or as a self-hosted solution via a downloadable executable.
These Terms of Use apply exclusively to the cloud service offered on looona.fr. Use of the self-hosted version is governed by the applicable software licence.
2. Acceptance
Use of the service constitutes full acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service.
Arnaud BLANCHARD CETOUTE reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. In the event of a material change, users will be notified by email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
3. Account Creation and Access
Access to the cloud service requires creating an account via a third-party OAuth provider (e.g. GitHub). You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Each account is strictly personal and may not be shared. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity carried out from your account.
In the event of unauthorised use of your account, you must notify Looona immediately at [email protected].
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Looona in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Using the service for illegal, fraudulent, or public order purposes
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to other users' systems, data, or accounts
- Submitting or transmitting malicious content (viruses, malware, attack scripts)
- Using the service to distribute spam, phishing, or any misleading content
- Deliberately overloading the infrastructure (denial-of-service attacks, abusive scraping)
- Circumventing quota limits or attempting to destabilise the platform
- Using the service to collect or process personal data in violation of GDPR
5. Workspace Naming Policy
When creating a workspace, you choose a slug (unique identifier) that will be used in the workspace URL. This slug must:
- Not impersonate a brand, person, or organisation
- Not contain obscene, offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate terms
- Not reproduce a domain name or registered trademark without authorisation
- Not contain terms that could mislead users about the nature of the service
Arnaud BLANCHARD CETOUTE reserves the right to rename or delete any workspace whose slug does not comply with these rules, after notifying the affected user as soon as possible.
6. User Content and Data
You retain full ownership of all data and content stored via Looona (feedback reports, workspace configurations, etc.). Arnaud BLANCHARD CETOUTE claims no ownership rights over this content.
You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the data you submit via the service and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or applicable law.
As the owner of a hosted workspace, you are the data controller (under GDPR) for the personal data of your own end users collected through your workspace. Looona acts as a data processor for this data.
7. Service Availability
Arnaud BLANCHARD CETOUTE strives to keep the service available 24/7. However, interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or force majeure.
No formal uptime guarantee (SLA) is provided unless otherwise specified in your plan's conditions. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.
8. Intellectual Property
All elements of the Looona service (interface, source code, trademark, logos, documentation) are the exclusive property of Arnaud BLANCHARD CETOUTE, subject to the licences of any open-source components used.
No licence over these elements is granted to the user beyond the right to use the service as described in these Terms.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. Termination results in data deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Arnaud BLANCHARD CETOUTE reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account in the event of a breach of these Terms, with prior notice unless there is an emergency (fraudulent activity, threat to platform security).
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Arnaud BLANCHARD CETOUTE shall not be liable for:
- Any data loss resulting from misuse of the service or events outside its control
- Any indirect, commercial, or financial damage related to interruption or malfunction of the service
- The content, practices, or policies of any integrated third-party services (OAuth providers, webhook integrations, etc.)
In any event, Arnaud BLANCHARD CETOUTE's total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by the user in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution before initiating legal proceedings.
Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
